This article was written by Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, a black minister who is the founder and president of the non-profit organization called B.O.N.D., located in Los Angeles, California. Rev. Peterson is a man with the character of Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. He knows what Dr. King stood for and that was unity.
We all remember the promise of the Civil Rights Movement. Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. dreamed of a better future for all, regardless of color. Character was the currency that mattered.
With the help of a willing news media, Jesse Jackson effectively installed himself as King’s successor. Jackson, the NAACP, Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, the Congressional Black Caucus and others then worked to derail the dream. And now they and a new generation of haters are attempting to kill King’s dream for good, with the help of power-hungry politicians and a thoroughly corrupt media.
They have taught black Americans to think like victims. They say America is a racist country, and the white man is out to put them back into slavery.
Being a victim is a mindset, and it’s one that has been taught well by the race hustlers. Slavery is long gone, gone too is Jim Crow. Today’s “slave” is a slave to their own warped biases and hatreds for people who have done them no harm.
Thank you Rev. Peterson for your words of wisdom.
