The damage national grassroots groups have done lately to Common Core is one of the main reasons why the Left has to now try so hard to sell it to a skeptical public! There have been many success stories to report on stopping the implementation of Common Core in many states.
Here in Orange County, one of the ways we can help continue these successes is to get involved in our local anti-Common Core activist group headed by Gloria Pruyne. Gloria is head of Orange County Common Core Concerned Citizens and she’s having an activist meeting this coming Wednesday at her home in Fountain Valley for folks interested in getting involved.
This meeting will be focused mainly on making a difference at local school boards, particularly in the Huntington Beach area. Gloria will be providing resource materials and having speakers to help us get educated and motivated to help stop Common Core here in Orange County!
The more we can get parents, teachers, and school boards educated about the dangers of CC, the better chance we have to eliminate it statewide and here in Orange County! Below the article, I’ve pasted all of the information below!

The purpose of the meeting is to get a Huntington Beach Team Organized, choosing the following:
· Leadership Support Team
· Date and Time to meet
· Place to meet
· Plan topic for first meeting
· Set goals to be accomplished
I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to hearing encouraging stories about your successes. I believe that it is important to have a support team to work with and to pray with. It’s a lot easier to work with a team than by yourself.
I look forward to our meeting and I will be sharing your progress on our Common Core state conference calls.
