In case you haven’t voted yet, and you live in one of the following Orange County Communities: Huntington Beach (south), Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, Tustin, Orange, Villa Park, and Anaheim (east), I strongly encourage you, as always, to vote for the only authentic conservative in this race for State Senate: former O.C. Supervisor John Moorlach!
This race really boils to a very simple question: Do we want another business as usual liberal Republican, a man who is clearly in bed with the special interests and the unions elected to the State Senate, or do we want a true reformer and a man who has a solid track record of looking out for the taxpayers of Orange County?!
We also must ask ourselves if Don Wagner can be trusted given his untrustworthy history on the illegal immigration issue and the concerns that many still have regarding the amnesty letter that he signed just a year in half ago?
In addition, there is no question that Don Wagner has disqualified himself and taken his name out of consideration in this race based his deplorable campaign tactics and the outright lies that he’s engaged in throughout this race!
Integrity and honesty has a great deal to do with who we elect to serve us in high office and Don Wagner has demonstrated in just the last two months that his word is NOT his bond and that truth telling ranks dead last in his priorities!
The bottom line is this: Do we want a Union-funded, Crony-Capitalist, amnesty-supporting, establishment Republican representing us in the State Senate? Or, would you rather have an authentic Reagan conservative, a Union-buster, someone who will no doubt be a good steward of our tax dollars and a CPA who will really shake things up in Sacramento? It’s really just that simple!
This shouldn’t be a tough decision today and the two main choices in this race couldn’t be more different! When you enter the voting booth this evening, please vote for a man who has the support of the California Republican Assembly, the Orange County Tea Party Blog, Congressman Tom McClintock, Conservative Mayors: Tom Tait & Jim Righeimer, the Orange County Register, Huntington Beach City Councilman Erik Peterson, and the vast O.C. conservative grassroots activist community! John Moorlach for State Senate! Polls close at 8p.! I will update you on tonight’s full results tomorrow morning! Thanks and God bless, Kelly

(From Moorlach’s Campaign Update this Morning 3/17)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! My two adorable grandchildren have a St. Patrick’s greeting for you at MOORLACH CAMPAIGN UPDATE — Vote on Tuesday — March 15, 2015.
The election is finally here! It’s time to vote. There are many media stories today announcing the obligation. I’m providing three of them below.
The first piece is from the OC Register. It’s editorial board has endorsed me. One sentence I want to emphasize is that I possess a “track record as a knowledgeable truth teller.” I have been in the public eye for more than 25 years. I have provided most of the media articles that I have been in on my blog, see https://johnmoorlach.wordpress.com/. I can safely say that I have always told you the truth.
The disappointment in this campaign is that my opponent has no problem telling falsehoods about me. I never raised a tax. I don’t receive a defined benefit pension of more than $100,000 a year. And I could go on.
I don’t believe that anything that I’ve said or printed about my opponent was untrue. When reporters try to find a distinction between the two of us, as the Voice of OC does in the second piece below, I can tell you that I have always told the truth.
No matter the outcome of tonight’s vote — win, lose or draw — I have kept my integrity intact. It would be great to win and serve this wonderful District, but I did not stoop to falsehoods and smear tactics in order to do so. And, if the voters have been fooled by the negative hit pieces of my opponent and his public safety employee union supporters, I can rest in the closing sentence of the OC Register‘s editorial in that I have accomplished a great deal on behalf of those I have represented.
With that, I want to thank all of my volunteers and contributors. We have walked nearly all of the precincts that were identified for a personal touch. We hoped to raise $200,000 in order to get our message out, and we exceeded that. I am most grateful. If you can come by the headquarters this evening, I would love to share my gratitude in person. John Moorlach
