Unfortunately, one solid conservative candidate that probably won’t be present at the Fox News debate next week, especially if his numbers stay the same, is Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.
As you know, because of the idiotic rules that Fox News put in place, about 4 or 5 of the 16 candidates are prevented from participating due to their low poll averages.
Jindal happens to be tied with folks like Santorum, Fiorina, and Pataki with only 1 or 2 percent support in the polls.
If any of you attended my presentations on the Presidential candidates that I did during the late Spring and early Summer, you’ll know that I gave Bobby Jindal an American flag in my ratings. He was only 1 of 3, out of the entire 16, who earned an American flag for his exceptional conservative record as a candidate and as a Governor and former Congressman.
Based on my review, I couldn’t find anything in his long record that would indicate that he was anything other than a solid Reagan conservative on the issues.
I will do vetting pieces on all 16 candidates, including Jindal, in future posts. My first one will be on Scott Walker and I will post that in the next few days, probably before the debate.
Prosecuting these sanctuary city Mayors and making them criminally liable for the offenses committed by illegals, is a brilliant proposal and it just demonstrates why many of us like this guy so much.
The only problem that Jindal has is that he isn’t getting enough air time and needed attention by both the conservative and the liberal media.
There is no question that if Governor Jindal was allowed on that first debate stage next Thursday, he would stand out as being one of the few exceptional conservative options to consider.
In my opinion, if Cruz doesn’t take off, or if something happens in the primary that prevents him from winning some states and forces him to drop out as a result, I would take a serious look at this guy (Jindal) as an acceptable alternative. Read below!
