Matt Bevin’s decisive win of the Governor’s seat in Kentucky yesterday wasn’t the only cause for celebration for conservatives! There appeared to be a mini conservative wave that developed that may just prove to be a sign of good things to come in 2016!
Not only did Bevin take-away a very important Gubernatorial seat from Democrats and put a lie to the claim that Tea Party conservatives can’t win major elections, but there were also several very significant domestic and social issue victories in places like Houston, Ohio, and even stretching all the way to the left coast in San Francisco!
Just as an observer, and not as a professional political analyst, it appeared there was a mini revolt by voters last night on the direction on many of these social issues.
If you look at the city of Houston last night for example, voters rejected, by a very large margin, a City Council ordinance that allowed men dressed in women’s clothing to enter freely into women’s restrooms. Sound familiar?
After that ordinance passed last year, a Texas court ordered the Council to either repeal the law themselves or allow voters to decide on the issue through a ballot measure. Voters did decide last night and soundly rejected that insane local law!
If you remember, Houston was the same city that had as its Mayor a radical Lesbian who ordered local churches to hand over their sermons or face consequences.
That city, which happens to be one of our nation’s largest cities, is obviously one of the more liberal towns in Texas. But as liberal as Houston is, voters still rejected the drastic lurch to the left and obviously reacted to, not only that specific ordinance, but also what the Mayor tried to do just a year or two ago!
Other victories included the ouster of the sanctuary city Sheriff in San Francisco, who defied federal law and arrogantly defended his city’s dangerous policy, a policy which as we all know caused the deaths of young Kate Steinle and the Bologna family many years prior!
Voters in liberal San Francisco showed Ross Mirkarimi the door last night by an almost 30 point margin!
Also, Ohio voters decisively rejected legalized pot in their state! You can read about these victories below!
With what seems like a mini revolt that took place by voters, it begs the question if 2016 will be another 2010 or bigger?
One thing is certain, if I were Mitch McConnell tonight, I would be awfully worried! I don’t think there is any question that if McConnell were up for re-election today, he would perhaps lose in the general and his fate would be even worse in the primary!
Also, based on some of these results, it appears the homosexual lobby has bitten off more than they can chew on many of these agenda driven issues.
Clearly Matt Bevin’s win is a rejection of how the courts and the media treated Kim Davis. Bevin was a supporter of Davis and did not remain silent during the campaign about her unjust incarceration and on defending her religious liberties!
Also, to have liberal Houston reject so soundly the bathroom ordinance, is an indication that the homosexual mafia has taken their case way too far!
Americans are a very compassionate and a tolerant people, but a majority of them are also God-fearing! Most Americans are getting sick and tired of the media, Hollywood, academia, and many of our Democrat and Republican politicians, forcing these aberrant social policies on the rest of us!
Enough is enough! That was the message by voters in the city of Houston last night and in many other areas throughout our nation!
Let’s just hope this is just the start of people waking up to the reality that we need to take back our country in a big way! Read below!
