You are invited…..
You are invited to participate in the Huntington Beach Fourth of July Parade. Our Surf City Tea Special Events Team put together an exciting parade entry which includes:
§ Surf City Tea banner– We need 2 people to carry the banners
§ American Flags – We need 2 people to carry the flags
§ Bill of Rights flags – We need 10 people to carry these flags
§ A stake-bed truck carrying:
o A 7’ Constitution
o A 8’ Liberty Bell
o If you cannot walk 3 miles, you can ride in the back of the truck on bales of hay
§ Costumed volunteers wearing Founding Father costumes
o You can provide your own or we have 5 costumes left that you can borrow
§ Founding Father rolling flags – We need 10 people push these (they are on wheels)
Date: July 4, 2012
Time: 3:00 AM (It’s early but we have to decorate the truck.)
Place: OSH 19330 Goldenwest Street (note new meeting time and place)
Wear: A Founding Father costume OR your Surf City Tea T-shirt. If you need a
T-shirt, let me know what size.
